Northeast Washington Regional Transportation Planning Organization Transportation Alternatives Program Call for Projects
The Northeast Washington Regional Transportation Planning Organization (NEW RTPO) is announcing our call for projects for the Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP). Transportation Alternatives projects and activities encompass smaller-scale transportation projects such as pedestrians and bicycle facilities, historic preservation, safe routes to school and other transportation-related activities. NEW RTPO has approximately $207,000 in funding available throughout the Tri County Region of Stevens, Ferry, Pend Oreille Counties and the Spokane Tribe of Indians, Kalispel Tribe of Indians, and the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation.
Consolidated Grant Program
The Consolidated Grant Program funds capital investments; projects that improve public transportation within and between rural communities as well as between cities; and provides transportation services for seniors and persons with disabilities. Eligible applicants include public transit agencies, nonprofit organizations, tribal governments, and other general or local governments.
