Executive Director

Tri County Economic Development District (TEDD) is accepting applications for a full-time Executive Director based in Colville, Washington.

This leadership position plays a vital role in advancing economic development throughout Ferry, Stevens, and Pend Oreille counties in Northeast Washington. The Executive Director is responsible for the overall administration and strategic leadership of TEDD’s programs and operations, including economic development initiatives, business lending programs, regional planning activities, grant administration, and partnerships with local, state, federal, tribal, and private-sector stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills, along with experience in economic development, business development, public administration, finance, planning, or a related field.

A bachelor’s degree in business, economics, public administration, planning, or a related field is preferred. Candidates should have at least ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in economic development, business, public administration, program management, finance, or a related field, including supervisory and organizational leadership experience.

Experience with grants, public finance, broadband, infrastructure, or revolving loan funds is preferred. Knowledge of rural economic development challenges and opportunities is highly desirable.
