Business Disaster Preparedness Workshop
May 11, 2022
It’s Not If, It’s When
Your business is going to be impacted by a disaster at some point. From fires to floods to pandemics and power outages, every business in the region will be exposed to an emergency somewhere along the line.
If you’re interested in learning how to make your store, restaurant, office or facility more disaster-proof, join Tri County Economic Development District for the FREE Business Disaster Preparedness Workshop on Wednesday, May 11th, 2022, from 1-3 pm.
At the workshop, business managers, owners and safety officers can learn how to be ready when disaster hits with tips and tricks from the experts at DNR, the Colville National Forest, county Emergency Management, Law Enforcement and health professionals. Join us for a chance to shed light on the areas you might not have considered in emergency preparedness, including evacuation, infrastructure impacts, emergency staffing issues, and fire prevention.
In addition to helping you prepare for the inevitable, we will also find out how businesses can be in a position to support disaster response efforts through emergency contracts for catering, heavy equipment, manpower and other resources with management agencies, providing evacuation spaces, helping share appropriate information and much more.
After hearing from experts across the field of emergency response, we’ll open up the floor for a question and answer time with the panel.
Don’t miss this opportunity to prepare your business for anything that comes your way. The workshop is available in person at TEDD World Headquarters in Colville and online via Webex.
